Geography
The Wrath of Thor is a sea channel between the islands of Mount Villainy and Hysteria. It freezes over during the winter months, connecting the two islands. It is also deep enough for large sea dragons such as the Doomfang to reside in.

How to Cheat a Dragon's Curse
The Wrath of Thor prominently features in Book 4 as the living area for a Doomfang.
