The franchise has revealed that aside from having last names, the Dragon Riders also have middle names, and some of them have been revealed. They are:
- Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III
- Fishlegs Justin Ingerman
- Ruffnut Eugene Thorston
This does make me wonder if Astrid, Snotlout, and Tuffnut also have middle names that are yet to be revealed. These are my guesses:
- Astrid Ingrid Hofferson
- Snotlout Brian Jorgenson
- Tuffnut Erik Thorston (although I heard from somewhere that his middle name is Eugene as well, but I cannot recall from where).
