As it is now November, it is time to discuss the featured articles for the Winter.
For featured Character we should feature a character from the Books.
For featured Dragon we should feature is the Chillblaster. This dragon species ability is an icy blast which very much fits with the Winter season.
For featured Other we should feature some type of article related to the main franchise.
For featured Character and Featured other please give your suggestions for those in the comments below.

As it is now August, it is time to discuss the featured articles for Fall.
For Featured Character we should feature a character from the main franchise. I don't have one in mind so I am open to suggestions from the others of you.
For Featured Dragon we should feature a dragon species from the books. I also don't have one in mind for this so I am open to suggestions from the others of you.
For Featured Other, I believe we should feature the page Hoogenboo, I feel this make since because it fits with the being featured in the fall because it is a festival, that happens on Huttsgalor in the fall and is referred to as the harvest festival.

As it is now May, it is time to discuss what articles to feature during the Summer.
Of course, the Featured Species for Summer will be Hobgobbler, as that was agreed upon in the previous featured articles discussion.
For Featured Character we could feature Marena.
As for Featured Other I want to hear what Book Series article others of you think we should feature that falls in this category.

As it is now February, it is time to discuss what articles to feature during the Spring.
For Featured Character I think we should feature Camacazi. Having not featured a character from the books before, I feel that we should feature one, and she as good a choice as any in the books that isn't Hiccup or Toothless
My suggestion for Featured Species is the Hobgobbler. It is a great species, that provided some great funny moments in the third film.
For Featured Other I think we should feature the Dragon Diary. I feel we should feature this page because it is the Rescue Riders equivalent of the Dragon Manual from the franchise, and since we featured the Dragon Manual in the fall, I feel it would be great to now feature the Dragon Diary.

From now on all discussions about featured articles will be done through a blog, as forums are now gone.
Anyway, it is just about that time to start thinking about featured articles for the Winter. You can make your suggestions for Featured Character, Featured Species, and Featured Other in the comments below. The new featured articles will go up on December 1st.
My one suggestion comes from a suggestion that was made a couple of featured article discussions back and it was decided to hold that article for a later set of featured articles because we didn't want the Featured Species and the Featured Character to be from the same part of the franchise, as well as the fact that we felt it was important to represent the main franchise and Rescue …
