So, I’m sure we’ve all heard of the Night Fury and Light Fury, and maybe some of us have even heard of an Ice Fury. But I’ve always had one question: if there is an Ice Fury, why not a Fire Fury?

After this thought, I rewatched scenes of The Hidden World in search of any evidence of this dragon. I skipped through the part where Stormfly, Astrid and Hiccup entered, wanting to get to the section where you could see all the dragons under Toothless’s rule. Of course, as I’m sure many of you have noticed, there were several light furies other than Toothless’s significant other (does she have a canon name?), but there were no fire furies in sight.

Fire furies have appeared in Berk’s myths before, and some vikings claim to have seen them. The Vikings assumed that they had mistaken what was a light, night, or ice fury for a fire fury. It is not in the Book of Dragons for this reason.

Fire Fury egg?

Could this be a fire fury egg?

Still searching, I found several images that showed several light furies, timberjacks, and even what I think is Drago’s Bewilderbeast (correct me if I’m wrong), but there was no sign of a fire fury. After at least 15 minutes of searching the video for any hints, my friend noticed this:

So, like true dragonoligists, we searched through all the information on dragon eggs we could find. The most similar egg we found was the Changewing egg from Rise of Berk. But, looking at the dragon’s eyes inside of the egg in the Hidden World, I think we can all agree that it’s not a Changewing.

In our search for more evidence, we came across a YouTube video theory stating the possibility that these were light fury eggs. So, naturally, we went searching for a light fury egg. We didn’t find much, since the egg is not in Rise of Berk, but the closest I could find to evidence was a toy egg that Dreamworks sells, which was blue.

We decided to go with our next piece of evidence: we knew that if the fire fury exists, it would be in the Stoker class. We checked every stoker class egg that we could find an image of, and none matched up.

So, our last question was, what does the fandom think? Is it a fire fury? Or is it just a random egg?
