How to Train Your Hogfly[]
In the last competition of the Inter-Tribe Summer-tide Friendly Bury the Hatchet Games, Young-Warrior-in-Training-Dash-Down-the-Slalom-of-Death, Gobber the Belch warned the participants of the Poison Darters and Throatgogglers that could kill them. Hellsbells disturbed the Throatgogglers in an attempt to retrieve an apple. One of the dragons caught the Hogfly and prepared to kill it, when Hiccup shot him with an arrow, and it let go. The Hogfly then stole an egg from under a mother Throatgoggler, mistaking it for the apple. The mother flew furiously after her egg, and Hiccup managed to trick her by throwing a real apple in the gorge. Later that day, Hiccup hatched the egg and presented the baby Throatgoggler to Nettle, who decided to take it with her instead of Toothless. However, at night, the Throatgogglers attacked the Danger-Brutes and the baby returned to its mother.
