• The title of the episode is named after My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
  • Voice actress Tara Strong voiced the main character Twilight Sparkle, who is a unicorn that turn into an alicorn (a winged unicorn). Much like Sparkle resembles to a winged unicorn and shares the same voice.
• This episode marks the first time Cutter ever gets stuck in a plant in Thornbane Valley, though that plant that grabs him and Sparkle is unidentified. 
• This is the first time that cutter leaves his arrogance aside and helps sparkle because if he hadn't met dak, leyla and the others he would have been like sparkle.
