Stoick's Shield is an object that appeared in How to Train Your Dragon.

How to Train Your Dragon[]
After Hiccup and Toothless were sneezed out of the mouth of the Green Death, the Green Death attempted to breathe fire, but he couldn't, since his fire holes were clogged with the horns of Hiccup's Helmet. As a result, the Green Death exploded. One of his teeth almost hit Hiccup, but Stoick blocked it with his shield.
Toothless had a wound on his chest, which was a result of going in the nostril of the Green Death and, as the giant dragon picked his nosed, his claw scratched Toothless' chest. Because of the wound Toothless entered a deep hibernation and was presumed dead, so a Viking funeral was made for him. Toothless was placed on a Viking ship, together with Stoick's Shield. Once Toothless got burned by the flaming arrows, he woke up and flew.
Physical Appearance[]
Stoick's Shield appeared as a typical Viking shield, since it is round with a Scandinavian design. We can safely assume it is metal, since it is strong enough to protect Hiccup and the puncture has bent parts around.
