Splattertail[1] is a young Night Light and one of Thunder and Shadow's siblings that first appeared in the episode "The Night Lights, Part 1". They are Thunder and Shadow's little sibling and the sibling of Goggles and the child of Mother Night Light and Father Night Light and a grandchild of Elder Night Light.

Biography[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Splattertail's early life, except at some point it was happily living with its family in the Hidden World until its eldest brother got separated after being driven away by a Titan Wing Skrill.
Reunion with Its Brothers[]
In "The Night Lights, Part 1", when the Riders arrive in the kings Realm and try to find Shadow Tom and D'Angelo walk up to a cave but are surprised when Shadow and two more Night Lights Goggles and Splattertail come out. They're very happy to see that Thunder has returned and jump on top of his jump in happiness, Jun then finds them adorable but Alex rudely says that they're most likely dangerous. Tom is also impressed by Thunder's other siblings but then Thunder's parents arrive to protect their babies. However after reuniting with Thunder and the riders earning they're trust they allow the Night Lights to play with them, in which Goggles and Splattertail try to play with Alex's tablet but she tries to prevent them from touching it. Happy to be reunited with its brother Splattertail along with the rest of Thunder's family fly together in happiness knowing Thunder was home. After flying around for a while a dragon calls out so Splattertail along with his family and the Riders head to the dragon calling out for them, when the Elder Night Light comes out of the cave Splattertail and the rest of the Night Lights bow down to him and is introduced to Tom and then stunned by his sword it then leads to all the Night Lights except Thunder and Shadow to attack the riders, in which Goggles and Splattertail try dragging Eugene and Webmaster away. After Thunder protects Tom and Shadow explaining it was an accident all the Night Lights stand down, as the riders were about to leave Eugene tells Shadow he's cool but hates Goggles and Splattertail. But the riders left two Snow Wraiths arrived attacked the Night Lights causing them all to retreat into their cave while Shadow escaped to the Ice Realm to get the riders.
In "The Night Lights, Part 2", when the Riders return they find the Night Lights hiding out in the cave where the Mother was holding onto Goggles and Splattertail and when Shadow returned he tried playing with his siblings but the mother pulled him away and licked head knowing he was okay, they then watch as how the Elder escorts them out thinking they were the ones who brought the Snow Wraiths here and then Thunder's parents take Thunder back into the cave to be safe. After the Snow Wraith knocked out the Rider's dragons allowing them Thunder and the Elder to escape it still lingers around the cave to eat the Night Lights. When Tom and Thunder lure away the Snow Wraith and Wu and Wei create a mist cloud for cover the Father grabs Goggles while the Mother grabs Splattertail in which they make their escape with the riders, however when another Snow Wraith arrives they take cover while Tom, Thunder, Shadow and the Elder deal with it. Once the battle was done, Thunder's parents allowed the baby Night Lights to say goodbye to the riders before they left so Splattertail then went to hug D'Angelo who told it and its brother to take care then they and other two said goodbye to Eugene who accepts them and then they jump on him. When Thunder is allowed to head back with the riders Splattertail says its last goodbyes by letting Alex and Jun hug it.
Dragon Club Returns[]
In Ragnarok Part 1, the Kings' Realm was attacked and Mother Night Light and Father Night Light were both gassed while the Elder Night Light had suffered multiple bite wounds and barely managed to fight off Jörmungandr before the Dragon Riders arrived due to Alex's sensors detecting Jörmungandr in said Realm. Splattertail and their siblings all escaped the carnage. They were brought into their cave home where D'Angelo treated them and they were recovering. Splattertail and and the other babies began playing with Eugene and intrrupting D'Angelo as he worked to heal the Elder and the Mother and Father Night Light while Eugene and Alex watched over them in their own way.
In Ragnarok Part 2, the Mother Night Light and Father Night Light are seen again in their cave home with their young as Thunder arrives back home as the new King of the Nine Realms after the Elder sadly passed away in the battle against Jörmungandr in the Nature Realm.
Physical Appearance[]
Splattertail has green eyes, is all-white with numerous black spots and patches running from the middle of its forehead, down the back and covering its heart-shaped tailfins.
Personality[]
Splattertail is very cheerful and playful, just like its siblings.
Abilities and Skills[]
Strength and Endurance: Despite being a baby, Splattertail is able to fly on its own, and exhibit the same tireless mobility as its older sibling, Thunder.
Lightning Blasts: Since Shadow can generate a lightning blast, it is safe to assume that Splattertail can as well.

Thunder[]
Just like its siblings, Splattertail was very happy to be reunited with its eldest Brother.
Shadow[]
Splattertail is shown to love its brother and, like Goggles, loves to play with him.
Goggles[]
Splattertail and Goggles love to play with each other as any siblings would.
Mother and Father[]
Splattertail loves its parents very much and stays near them most of the time.
The Elder[]
Just like the rest of the tribe, Splattertail is shown to respect the elder as it bowed down to him. They mourned the loss of the elder in Ragnarok: Part 2, but then looked up to Thunder as the new King of the Realms.
Dragon Club[]
After Shadow, both Goggles and Splattertail took an instant liking to the club members. They would sometimes mess around with Alex when they were interested in her tablet. But at the end, everyone in Dragon Club accepted them and gave each of them a hug.
