Specklehounds are dragons seen in The Incomplete Book of Dragons.
Physical Appearance[]
Based on the pictures of Specklehounds, they are very much resemble Dachshunds. They have floppy ears, very long bodies, and four short legs. They also have a spade tail, spikes running down their spines, and a pair of wings. Specklehounds also appear to come in a variety of colors including pink, yellow, orange, and blue.
Abilities[]
Specklehounds can speak Dragonese and have a good sense of smell.
Training[]
Specklehounds are small trainable dragon used for hunting or as lap dragons. Aunt Burlysweet has a Specklehound with five babies named Twiglet, Spicklet, Joglet, Piggerwrigglet, and Niff.
