The Slumberjack inherits the large thin body of the Timberjack, with a long neck and a long tail. It has two pairs of twisted horns and two large, curved wing-claws. It has inherited the two hind limbs of a Monstrous Nightmare, while also using its wings as front limbs when walking. The Slumberjack has a row of spikes that starts from its head, splits into two on its back and merges back into one on its tail.

Titan Wing[]

Titan Wing Slumberjacks increase in size significantly, with their horns and spikes growing longer and sharper. The rounded edge of their jaws becomes triangular and the barbells on their jaws grow much longer.

Abilities[]

Firepower[]

They use their fiery breath for controlled burns to create fire breaks.
  Dragons: Titan Uprising

Owing to their Monstrous Nightmare ancestry, Slumberjacks have immensely dangerous firepower, able to burn piles of logs in seconds.

Razor-sharp Wings[]

With razor sharp wing tips, they cut down a line of trees between the fire and their homes.
  Dragons: Titan Uprising

Much like their parent species, Slumberjacks have razor sharp wings which can slice through full-grown trees with ease. Some variants like the Forest Slumberjack use this ability to stop the spread of forest fires by cutting down trees to create a barrier between the burning trees and the healthy ones.

Sense of Smell[]

The moment a fire starts to spread near their homes, they sniff it out with their powerful noses, and immediately leap into action.
  Dragons: Titan Uprising

Slumberjacks have powerful noses, able to detect the scent of smoke the minute a fire starts anywhere near their forest homes.

Behaviour and Personality[]

These attacks invariably come as a surprise, as the Slumberjack is a shy and solitary Dragon who will remain clandestine until such time as the attack begins.
  Dragons: Titan Uprising

Slumberjacks are shy and seclusive, preferring solitude. However, they are quick to attack any threat to their beloved forest homes.
