The Silver-tailed Ironclaw is a dragon species that appears in the series, Dragons: Rescue Riders.

Physical Appearance

Egg

Silver-tailed Ironclaw eggs are large and slate gray in color. They have a webbing of white, scale-like patterns on their shells. The shells appear to be made out of some sort of metallic substance, presumably iron.

Baby

Baby Silver-tailed Ironclaws look very similar to baby Hideous Heatwings. They are silver in color with a large head, short body and tail, four limbs, and two horns on the back of the head with a third horn on the nose.

Adult

Abilities

Firepower

Silver-tailed Ironclaws breathe a bright sparky orange flame, similer to the flame of a Deadly Nadder.

Iron-Bearing Scales and Claws

The scales and claws of Silvertailed Ironclaws contain iron, making them harder and tougher. The Mother Ironclaw can use her tail to whack Cutter into the sky. The are also very, very heavy, and are immensely strong.

Weaknesses

Water

Water causes their scales to rust. If their wings rust, they will be unable to fly.

Deep Sleepers

Silvertailed Ironclaws are deep sleepers, and very hard to wake once they fall asleep.

Behavior and Personality

Silver-tailed Ironclaws stay far from water since touching it will cause their metallic body to rust. They are very hard to reason with, mainly mothers as they are very protective of their young.
