The Shivering Shores is an island appearing in several games and mentioned in an episode of Dragons: Riders of Berk.

|— Dragons: Rise of Berk|
Shivering Shores is a cold and icy island. There are snow-covered evergreen trees and ice sheets in the sea. According to "Dragon Flower", the island is inhabited by a tribe of Vikings, but nothing is known about their buildings or other structures.
|“||I'm heading off to my yearly meeting with the Chief of the Shivering Shores. The last man who showed up without a gift left without a head.||”|
|“||Hiccup! Put this in the Book of Dragons! Never fly on a stomach full of under-cooked mutton. The Shivering Shores will never be the same.||”|
As shown in "Dragon Flower", Stoick states that he holds a meeting with their Chief every year. Stoick brings their chief a sword, stating that the last person to show up without a gift was beheaded. This might mean that it is a clan meet between chiefs of different tribes.
Stoick also mentions that it takes five days round trip to travel by ship to Shivering Shores, but while riding Thornado, it should only take two days.
Flight of the Night Fury is a defunct iOS game in which Hiccup riding Toothless explore three islands, one of which is Shivering Shores. Because the game is no longer available, information is extremely sparse. This game appears to be the first place Shivering Shores is mentioned (game released in 2010).
Shivering Shores is the seventh area of the Coldwind Wastes the player encounters while fighting the Dragonroot Company. This group of Dragon Hunters have occupied vast swathes of the Barbaric Archipelago and infected the local dragons with dragon root. The player must battle dragons such as Hideous Zipplebacks, Skrills, and Monstrous Nightmares.
Shivering Shores does appear on the Interactive Map on the Dragons: Race to the Edge website. The island is not featured in this TV series, however.
