Red-Hot Itchyworms, as their name suggests, are almost unbearable to touch due to the heat their bodies give off. Due to this, one has never been captured and studied. They are infamous for their sizzling and painful bite that will smoke for hours, even if put under water. They are bloodsuckers, and when they get into a person's clothing they swarm all over the body in a pack and bite their victim incessantly.

Red-Hot Itchyworms were used to guard the Meathead Public Library, along with Driller-Dragons and the Hairy Scary Librarian, who fell into them and went hysteric.
