Pete is a security guard who works for the Rakke Corp at ICARIS. He first appeared in the episode "Featherhide".
Biography[]
Night Patrol[]
While Pete was patrolling around ICARIS, alongside another guard, in "Featherhide", he was surprised by a wave of mist that surrounded him. Unbeknownst to him, the mist was created by the dragon Wu and Wei. Soon after, he heard strange sounds in the night and alerted his chief, Philip Baker. However, while heading towards the sounds, he, alongside his colleague, was knocked over by a rampaging sheep.
Sheep Attack[]
In "Dr. Catastrophe", Pete, alongside another ICARIS worker, were attacked by the same rampaging sheep as a few weeks before. They were saved by Philip Baker and his son, D'Angelo, who calmed the sheep by trimming its hooves.
Scammed by Eugene[]
In "Uncharted Territory", when Alex and Eugene sneak into the Ice Realm to rescue Feathers and Webmaster, when doing his Night Patrols, Pete spots them and questions what they're doing. Eugene lies and tricks Pete, saying their doing a surprise inspection for May and though he doesn't believe them at first, Eugene and Alex threaten to call May which makes Pete nervous and then believe them. Eugene also tells him to work harder in which he does and heads off on his way. When the other riders go after them, D'Angelo notices Pete working harder than ever and thinks it was Eugene and Alex's doings.
In "The Night Lights, Part 1", when Eugene steals the tire of a jeep for Shadow to use as a chew toy, Pete becomes Shocked when he sees it's missing.
Meeting the Dragons[]
In "Deep Freeze", Pete attends the emergency meeting on how everyone would get through the winter storm. Later after the Helicopter goes nuts he witnesses the Riders and Dragons rescuing Olivia, Philip and the Helicopter and landing them down safely. Like everyone else, Pete was very shocked and overwhelmed by the dragons when Eugene made Webmaster blast everywhere, Pete along with the rest of the ICARIS workers got terrified and panicked.
Living with Dragons[]
In "Dragons Everywhere!", when wild Dragons start coming up to Rakke Town and started bothering everyone, the riders grab a hold of the situation and wrangle them back into the Hidden World, when Tom and Thunder start handling the dragon problem Pete praises them, making everyone else praise them too and love it when they do air tricks. Later, after the other riders officially get rid of all the wild dragons, Pete starts praising them making everyone else praise them too.
In "Break in Case of Emergency", when the Terrible Terror Jun pushed through the vents made it's way into the control room and messed with all of ICARIS' systems, it made a drone chase after Pete causing him to run away in terror.
In "Poison Control", the angry Sheep that keeps bothering people chases after Pete until Tom and Thunder arrive to zap it away. Later, when Tom and D'Angelo were about to give the Book of Dragons to Buzzsaw in exchange for an antidote to save Thunder's life they see the Hobgobbler they brought back chase after Pete making him go up a lamp post but thankfully D'Angelo got it away from him.
Joining Eugene's Team[]
In "Hobs and Saw", due to Buzzsaw's attack, more security is needed so Pete is in the forest installing more security sensors and is then visited by Philip who checks on his work. Pete then alerts the Chief of Hobs sitting on the ATV and drooling fire.
In "Heart of Glass", Pete is in the general buying food for dinner when he notices all the food he puts in his basket are missing and thinks someone is pulling a prank on him, he then becomes shocked to see the rider's dragons except for Thunder eating all the food. The dragons then run off with Pete's groceries making him chase them, Pete tries to get his groceries back while Thunder tries to stop the other dragons but they don't listen and keep his food away. When the riders come by and stop the dragons they drop the food and Pete becomes very annoyed with them and picks up whatever food is left intact, he then states he'll be having mashed cheesy loops.
In the episode: "In the Cards", while helping Philip and Hobs move some boxes out the helicopter, Pete witnesses the Typhoomerangs flying over ICARIS and takes cover, then as the dragons started falling and descending over Rakke Town Pete begins to evacuate along with everyone else until the Typhoomerangs are gone.
In "Eugene's Lean Mean Extreme Dream Team", Pete takes power naps in the Hanger which is not allowed, and Eugene finds out about this in which he uses this advantage to blackmail Pete into joining his new Dragon Rider team, but he also tells him there will be snacks provided. When Eugene does his speech Pete is very uninterested and points out that Hobs ate all the snacks making him want to go, but Eugene reminds him and blackmails him again to stay and follow him or else he'll tell May that he's been slacking on the job. Hobs then eats all the provided snacks which was the only reason Pete was there, but Eugene blackmails him in staying. Later Eugene tries to have Pete bond with Hobs but fails as he places his hand on Hob's butt and Eugene tells him to go wash his hand, especially after Pete took a whiff and knew how bad it smelt. The second time Pete places his hand on Hob's face but Hobs licks it and covers Pete's entire hand in saliva, therefore needing to wash it. After numerous failed lessons Eugene disbands the team in which Pete took Hobs back to Rakke Town, but asked Eugene for more free snacks since his blood sugar was crashing. Instead, Eugene angrily denied him snacks and left.
Adopting Jerry[]
In "The Great Foster Fake-Out", during Foster a Dragon Day Pete partook and was very intrigued and impressed by a Speed Stinger the riders rescued, despite Tom warning him they run around very fast and the dragon taking off, this only made Pete love it more and happily chased after it. Although at some point during Mr Rakke's visit his Speed Stinger got away from him until it the riders managed to get it back to Rakke Town.
In "Science vs. Nature", when the riders were ordered to take all the fosters back to the Hidden World they went to collect the Speed Stinger from Pete however Pete pretended he didn't know what they were talking about until his Speed Stinger he named Jerry ran out the dome and all over Rakke Town. After cornering Jerry and knocking him down Pete was worried about his dragon and went to check on him and was relived to know he was okay but after Tom explained that they had to take the fosters home Pete protested stating they brought them all up here to be safe from Jörmungandr, after explaining that they'll do everything to make sure Jerry and the other dragons would be okay Pete asked them to take Jerry back last as it was his birthday tomorrow and wanted to celebrate with Jerry, when Tom agreed Pete was happy and then went on a jog with Jerry despite the Speed Stinger running much faster than him. Later when Jerry stings Murray Pete apologises and asks if he had garlic since that bothers Jerry but Pete assured him that the venom would where off eventually in which he ran after his dragon again. When the plan to use Speed Stinger venom to freeze Jörmungandr is being prepared and Eugene and D'Angelo were tasked with extracting venom from Jerry Pete questions D'Angelo why he's wearing his fire suit and D'Angelo responds saying it protects him from Jerry's stings, Pete was still unsure how Jerry's venom could defeat Jörmungandr due to his size until Eugene rudely says that they were going to milk him until D'Angelo stated they were going to extract the venom gently, when getting him into the Lab Jerry becomes very stressed out until Pete calms him down and is able to get the Speed Stinger into the lab however Eugene refuses to let him in thinking he couldn't handle it until Jerry gets angry with Eugene resorting to him getting Pete for help. Once Pete arrives Jerry is much more calmer however Pete baby talking to the Speed Stinger makes everyone distracted especially when D'Angelo and Carla tell him to stop he still doesn't so Eugene decides to use Jerry's tail to sting Pete so he would freeze and stop talking much to Jerry's annoyance.
In "Ragnorok: Part 1", when May needed to call an emergency meeting Eugene and Alex interrogate Pete to make him tell them what's the meeting about however Pete literally has no idea but hopes it has to do with May approving his request for tanning beds in the dome.
In "Ragnorok: Part 2", when Jormungandr arrived at the surface and in Rakke Town Pete was the first human he saw there and seeing the giant snake Pete knew he was in trouble especially after Jormungandr roared at him making him and other Rakke Employees run away.
