Biography[]
Lost Son[]
Not much is known about Mother Night Light's early life, except that at some point she was happily living with her family in the Hidden World until her eldest son was separated from her after being driven away by a Titan Wing Skrill.
Reunion With Thunder[]
In "The Night Lights, Part 1", when Shadow introduces the Riders to Goggles and Splattertail, Thunder's parents then arrive thinking the riders are trying to harm their children. However, Thunder jumps in front of Tom and reveals to his parents that he's alive and okay in which they couldn't believe it, so the Mother Night Light sniffs him to see if it was really Thunder and when she finds out, she nuzzles him and licks his head and both parents are happy he's home. Although they still didn't trust the Riders and began circling them to test whether they were going to hurt them or not. Jun then shows the Mother Night Light her shield in which she takes a liking to her reflection and earns her trust. Happy to be reunited with their son, the Mother Night Light along with the rest of Thunder's family fly together in happiness knowing Thunder was home. After flying around for a while, a dragon calls out so the Mother Night Light along with his family and the Riders head to the dragon calling out for them, when the Elder Night Light comes out of the cave the Mother and the rest of the Night Lights bow down to him and he is introduced to Tom. But when he gets stunned by Tom's sword, it leads to all the Night Lights, except Thunder, and Shadow to attack the riders. After Thunder protects Tom and Shadow, explaining it was an accident all the Night Lights stand down. But as the riders left, two Snow Wraiths arrived and attacked the Night Lights causing them all to retreat into their cave while Shadow escaped to the Ice Realm to get the riders.
In "The Night Lights, Part 2", when the Riders return, they find the Night Lights hiding out in the cave where the Mother was holding onto the babies and licked Shadow's head knowing he was okay. They then watch as the Elder escorts them out thinking they were the ones who brought the Snow Wraiths here, then Thunder's parents take Thunder back into the cave to be safe. After the Snow Wraith knocked out the Rider's dragons, Thunder and the Elder gave the kids time to escape, but it still lingers around the cave to eat the Night Lights. Tom and Thunder lure away the Snow Wraith and Wu and Wei create a mist cloud for cover, the Father grabs Goggles while the Mother grabs Splattertail in which they make their escape with the riders. However, when another Snow Wraith arrives, they take cover while Tom, Thunder, Shadow and the Elder deal with it. Once the battle was done, Thunder's parents allowed the baby Night Lights to say goodbye to the riders before they left. Then the Elder allowed Thunder to stay with Tom, and they couldn't have been more happy that Thunder was with his best friend.
Jörmungandr Attack[]
In Ragnarok Part 1, the Kings' Realm was attacked and Mother Night Light and Father Night Light were both gassed while the Elder Night Light had suffered multiple bite wounds and barely managed to fight off Jörmungandr before the Dragon Riders arrived due to Alex's sensors detecting Jörmungandr in said Realm. They were brought into their cave home where D'Angelo treated them and they were recovering.
In Ragnarok Part 2, the Mother Night Light and Father Night Light are seen again in their cave home with their young as Thunder arrives back home as the new King of the Nine Realms after the Elder sadly passed away in the battle against Jörmungandr in the Nature Realm
Physical Appearance[]
Mother Night Light has a similar appearance to the Light Fury, except her white wings are not smooth like the species. Instead, she's similar to Thunder, with the edging of her clawed wings being black. She has a large black patch on her neck, along with a black underbelly. Her spines are smaller and black, and run all the way down to her tail. She has black tail fins at the base of her tail, and a black heart-shaped tail fin with a rounded dorsal fin connecting the two together. Her wings are as broad and rounded as a Light Fury's, unlike her mate and children. She has light blue eyes like Light Fury.
Personality[]
Mother Night Light is kind and caring, but can be very aggressive when it comes to defending her family, alongside her mate, her children and the Elder Night Light, but she does show curiosity towards humans once she begins to gain their trust. She can also be playful, as she took interest seeing her reflection in Jun's Shield, and slightly nudged it. She and her mate appear to be more relaxed compared to the Elder when they see Thunder's trust and bond with Tom and the others. But she didn't hesitate to attack them when Tom accidentally hits the Elder with lightning (caused by Shadow) from his lightning sword.
Relationships[]
Her mate[]
She loves her mate very dearly and stays by him at all costs.
Thunder[]
She loves her eldest son. She became overjoyed to be reunited with Thunder after a long time of separation and gives him a loving lick while head cuddling.
Shadow, Goggles, and Splattertail[]
She loves all her children, and does all she can to protect them, even from strangers like the Dragon Club and other dragons.
Jun Wong[]
At first, she acted aggressively due to no human contact. But Jun shows her that she and the other riders are no threat by showing her reflection in her shield. Interested enough, she gave the shield a little nudge showing that she slowly warmed up to the girl.
The Rest of the Dragon Club Riders[]
At first, she acted aggressively due to no human contact when Tom approaches Shadow. But through their gentle approaches, she came to realize that they were friends with her sons and not their enemies.
In Ragnarok Part 1, After being injured by Jörmungandr, she trusted the riders to treated her wounds and watch over her childern.
