I can't see any justifiable reason as to why you were blocked. I just sent a message to Mikeac1 to see if he could let me know his reasoning for blocking you. If it turns out to be unjust, I'll reverse the block. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I saw the message on the wiki. I think year long block doesn't sound fair. I should've at least got a warning. You did see pictures I loaded right? They weren't foggy. As for the ones Mike loaded I merely made them bigger.
Yeah, a year-long block is definetely far too long. I'll see if it's possible to shorten or remove the block entirely. I'm also unsure how those pictures qualify as "foggy" myself. If there's something in the rules that somehow says they are, I'll let you know.
Yeah, I'm still an admin there. However, Mike is a bureaucrat on the wiki, meaning he is the only person on there with a higher authority than an admin. Therefore, I'm unsure if admins are able to edit block actions made by bureaucrats. I'm sure we can, but I'd still like to make sure first before I do anything. Appologies for the delay.
Since my last post, I found out that, while I seem to be unable to revert the block completely, I have reduced its length from a full year to just two weeks. I honestly don't think you should have been blocked in the first place though. Maybe you and Mike should talk about the images you uploaded so that we can see why your images were of "low quality?" Hope this helps.
I see you have added a page for the Dragon Training Academy game. Didn't know it existed! I was able to get a few screenshots from the Demo video, which I had on a DVD. I'm putting them here for you :)
I don't think it lasted for very long. I know it was active in 2013, but I can't find any evidence of it being active later than that. Fortunately, some of the old games can still be found on various outside websites, but Dragon Training Academy doesn't seem to be one of them.
By the way, speaking of old HTTYD media that can still be found on various outside websites, I recently found another set of HTTYD online games similar to Dragon Training Legendsbased off of those Gobber's Guide to Battling Dragonsvideos, Gobber's Dragon Training Games. A page for them should be made soon, once I compile some more images.
I was also able to find a few more screenshots, though most of them aren't the best quality.
Hey, I was just wondering what your opinion might be for the special attack Meatlug has in Dragons Hero Portal. Do you think it is a 'bump blast' or a regular type mouth blast that she shoots in all directions? Here is the (poor) image I got from a YouTube video:
Does it resemble her fire in the game in any way? If not, I'd wager it's the "Bump Scatter Blast" attack, especially given how the attack originated as a play feature of a HTTYD2 toy and this is an HTTYD2 game.
By the way, I don't know if you saw on the Gronckle comment section, but I finally found the toy that originated the "Bump Blast" attack. It's called "Meatlug Spike Blast" and was released as part of the Power Dragon line for HTTYD2.
Hi! We don’t necessarily know each other, but I saw it was your birthday today and I wanted to wish you a happy birthday! I hope it is fantastic! I love your art btw, you are a really good artist! Thanks for all you have done for this wiki, you have made a LOT of edits! 💖💖
Thank you so much for wishing me a happy birthday. Can't take credit for the art though. I'm acutally not that great of an artist. It was either drawn for me by user Heatherthedragonrider, who is credited in the captions, or is concept art for the franchise.
It looks like you may have seen the RR shows? Can you give me your opinion on whether you think some fruit in the background is Sagefruit or just pears (nevermind Sagefruit look like pears ...). I saw them in “The Nest”, after Magnus accused Burple of eating Haggis. There is a shot of a Viking woman fanning a Viking man who fainted in front of a large crate of these fruit. Thanks!
I don’t think those are sagefruit. For one, they are a completely different color. For another, why would a village with no dragons in it until the events of the series be mass-cultivating a fruit that is specifically used to calm them and has no known edible or medicinal properties for humans? I think they’re just pears.
Because Jack Thomas left us references to the main franchise. You don't think they're the same color, though? An orangey colored base tapering to green at the top? We don't see people eat them, but I don't recall seeing that they couldn't ...
Really?? Interesting. Perhaps this is something like that thing that dress that went viral when people were seeing different colors! They look the same to me, if perhaps a darker shade of orange on the ones in RR. Oh, and they have a little bit of stem at the top. Both are shaped like pears.
I've got some images too I just need to crop them. Hard getting something quality off Twitter and Facebook! Please remember to upload jpgs (if possible) and to categorize them. In this case, just "Images" I guess. We don't have episode image categories yet! Thanks!
Will do. I wasn't sure what to categorize them when I uploaded them, but now I can simply put them in the images category for now. Should we at the very least make something akin to an "RR Images" category for them as well?
I was wondering that as well, but we don't have an RttE image category or any of the other series. I guess we can just go ahead and make Image categories for the episodes we know of that Thorndrum found somewhere. They appear to be legit. I'm 99.9% that makes the Slinkwing from "Boo to You", based on the description and the leaked storyboard. If you don't want to create it, I can get to it tomorrow. Its time I start getting to bed.
That was intended for me. It's a Sonic Deathrattle, one of my fanmade dragons, drawn by Heather the Dragon Rider. This is a duplicate of this image from my userpage, so I'm not sure what to do with the image you found.
Just some reminders/reference for creating/editing pages -not a biggie! - since you are very good at catching the little things others have missed:
It's not necessary to put [[File: ]] for the infobox image, just the file name. You do need it within the article body though.
Please put the whole appearance template on the page, even if the character/object/other doesn't appear in all the episodes/media.
I guess make sure there is a sub-heading under the "Biography" heading, even if the mention is very minimal, just to be consistent across pages. I'm guessing there are probably a lot of pages that need to be touched up :/
Please link pages under each new == == heading. I think we changed this at some point 'recently' (last year??). I need to make sure its in the MOS though. This was because page linking was all over the place, partially because people would add new info to pages and either link or not link (guilty!), and not sure if the page was already linked somewhere else on the page from an older edit. This way if you just pick a heading/section to edit, a person can see easily whether the pages is already linked or not and not have to worry about the other sections.
