The Meathead Tribe are close neighbors to the Hairy Hooligan Tribe. Their chief Mogadon the Meathead has a sometimes fierce rivalry with the Hooligan's chief, Stoick the Vast, usually because of sheep-rustling or arm-wrestling disputes.
How to Train Your Dragon[]
Mogadon brought many young Vikings from his tribe, including his son, Thuggory, to Berk to take part in a rite of passage with the young Hooligans. However, the trainees were unable to control their dragons, and according to ancient law, were banished. Soon after, two Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus washed up on Berk's shore. The two tribes were unable to vanquish them, and were forced to call on the help of Stoick's son, Hiccup, the only Viking who could speak Dragonese. After an attempt to reason with the dragons failed, Hiccup formulated a plan to get rid of them. After luring one to other, who was then killed, Hiccup then managed to block the fire holes in it's throat, killing it. Mogadon then lifted the exile on the trainees, welcoming them back with open arms.
How to Be a Pirate[]
When Alvin the Poor-But-Honest-Farmer showed up on Berk in the coffin of Grimbeard the Ghastly, he told the Hairy Hooligan Tribe the story of how he ended up in there. Part of the story included him being put into the coffin by the Meatheads and shoved into the sea.
