Ludia, a member of the FremantleMedia family, is a video game developer based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Ludia collaborated with the DreamWorks Dragons franchise to develop Dragons: Rise of Berk and Dragons: Titan Uprising.
History[]
Ludia was founded in 2007 as a creator and distributor of games across multiple platforms. Platforms include: Nintendo DS, PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii, though presently the primary platforms Ludia publishes to are Facebook, iOS, Android and Amazon. While Ludia does develop original games, the majority of their portfolio are branded from such properties as Disney, DreamWorks Animation, CBS, Wizards of the Coast, Nickelodeon, and Sony. In 2011, Ludia began using the "Free to Play" model for their games.
