Geography
Lava-Lout Islands has a huge volcano with dripping lava. It also has a lot of thorns and spiky rocks scattered around the area. In the middle is a giant mountain, from which streams of lava flow.
Lava-Lout Island is located in the southwestern part of the Barbaric Archipelago. Directly north of it flows the Summer Current.

How to Twist a Dragon's Tale
As told in How to Twist a Dragon's Tale, fifteen years before the events of the book, the fire stone was stolen by Stoick the Vast for the purpose of wedding Valhallarama.

The area around the volcano was covered with thousands of Exterminator eggs, dangerous dragons that after hatching were devoured by the Fire Dragon, the current occupant of the volcano.
