Jerry is a male Speed Stinger and Pete 's dragon that appeared in Dragons: The Nine Realms
Biography [ ] In "The Great Foster Fake-Out ", in order to protect dragons from the threat of Jörmungandr , Tom brought some of them to ICARIS in an attempt to get the Rakke Corp employees to take care of them. Jerry was among these dragons. Pete took a liking to the Speed Stinger, and despite Tom's warnings that the dragon is a fast runner, he decided to take him in. However, during William Rakke Jr. 's visit to the research facility, Jerry got out and started running parallel to Mr. Rakke's ATV. Fortunately, he did not see the dragon and Jun and Eugene managed to take Rakke in a different direction than Jerry. Later that day, Tom and Olivia brought all the dragons, including Jerry, to the lab, where they pushed them into the elevator and took them to a higher floor.
In "Science vs. Nature ", the Dragon Club came to Pete's dome in order to take Jerry back to the Hidden World . Just then, Jerry rushed out of the dome and ran chaotically through ICARIS. He was eventually stopped by a camouflaged Feathers, much to Pete's concern. He managed to convince them to let him keep the dragon for a couple more days, as his birthday was approaching. Tom agreed, and Pete took Jerry out for a jog. Later, after Jerry accidently stung Murray , Tom had the idea of using Speed Stinger venom against Jörmungandr. D'Angelo and Eugene were tasked with handling Jerry, while Carla and Hazel used the Speed Stinger's venom to create a toxin capable of paralysing Jörmungandr. Pete came along in order to calm Jerry down, but he kept talking to the dragon, which distracted D'Angelo. To solve this problem, Eugene stung Pete with Jerry's tail.
Physical Appearance [ ] Jerry is a dark green hue, with a light gray underbelly and pale yellow spots all over his body. His eyes are bright red.
Personality [ ] Jerry isn't as aggressive as other Speed Stingers and is actually quite friendly since he won't usually sting people when around them. But Jerry is shown to be a little scared and unnerved when people force him into doing things. However, since he and Pete do have a friendly connection, Jerry becomes very calm and docile whenever Pete's around.
Abilities and Skills [ ] Speed: Like all Speed Stingers, Jerry possesses an incredible speed, capable of outrunning any human or dragon.Venom: Jerry has strong venom in his tail, that can paralyse any animal in an instant upon stinging it.Relationships [ ]
When Pete adopted Jerry he was very impressed by him but Jerry didn't think much of Pete at first as he just kept running around Rakke Town. However after spending some time together Jerry grew to love Pete as a friend and loves their jogs together. Whenever Jerry is being forced to do something he finds stressing he appreciates Pete being around for him to help calm his nerves.
Despite being chased and forced into a room to have his venom extracted Jerry seems to be on good terms with D'Angelo as he allowed D to extract his venom, however when Jerry was being forced into the Lab Jerry tried to sting D'Angelo a few times but failed due to the Fire Suit .
Jerry dose not like Eugene at all for being very rude to Pete and when he got out the other room he tried stinging and attacking him, later when Eugene stung Pete with Jerry's own tail the Speed Stinger was very displeased with what he had done.
Appearances [ ]
Trivia [ ] It is possible that Jerry is the same Speed Stinger from "Hobs and Saw ", because after D'Angelo healed its tail it became docile around humans. The two also share the same colors.
