Jack C. Thomas

Jack Thomas is a writer for Dragons: Riders of Berk, Dragons: Defenders of Berk, and Dragons: Race to the Edge. He also executive produces the new series Dragons: Rescue Riders.

Biography[]

Jack Thomas began his working career studying law at Ohio University, then Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree. His career path changed however, and he began writing and editing children's shows at Nickelodeon in the early 2000's. From there he moved on to Walt Disney Animation Studios, Cartoon Network, and then DreamWorks Animation.

Jack Thomas is currently owner of 001 Productions, Inc. and is the President of the Animation Guild. He won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program in 2012 for his work on the Regular Show. He was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Children's Animated Program for Turbo FAST.
