Plot[]

The Dragon Club tries to hold a meeting, but everyone has different priorities (D'Angelo working in the dragon hospital, Tom and Jun researching, etc.) and can't find common ground. Jun suggests that the team do a tarot card reading as a way to decide their course of action instead of just arguing with each other. However, the reading shows signs of the team facing some kind of ailment, splitting up in different directions, and may fall apart and breakup. The other riders initially dismiss the prediction, but they quickly begin arguing again and Jun fears the prediction is coming true. D'Angelo gets a message from his dad that there's a situation and everyone heads to the surface.

On the way back to the surface, Eugene tells Tom he thinks that the breakup prediction might not be talking about the team, but that Tom and Jun might breakup instead. Tom dismisses that idea, but is secretly worried by Eugene's suggestion. The team meets Philip outside of ICARIS where they discover a bunch of the rubber snakes used to keep dragons from escaping have been chewed up. Philip warns the security breach could risk the dragons getting discovered and orders the team to find the source of the problem. Jun insists everyone should stick together to overcome their lapse in teamwork and Tom, fearful of breaking up with Jun, sides with her, to the other's reluctance.

The group finds large, scorched rings on the ground along with more rubber snakes that have been chewed. While investigating the rubber snakes, Eugene accidentally grabs a real one that startles him into throwing it near the dragons and scares them off. When they find the dragons, they discover them eating some purple plants which D'Angelo realizes from working in dragon hospital causes rampant irritation and itching. Soon, the dragons are itching uncontrollably (along with Eugene who tasted the plants too) and Jun realizes the first prediction about an ailment has come true. D'Angelo has anti-itch cream, but only enough for one dragon. Everyone begins arguing who should get the cream and their fighting ends up causing them to destroy it. Jun tries to get everyone to focus on finding the dragon tearing up the snakes instead of fighting, but the group keeps getting into arguments. They eventually find the dragon eating the rubber snakes, a Typhoomerang, and try to go after it. However, the dragons' itching makes it hard for them to fly properly and they struggle to direct the Typhoomerang back to the Hidden World. They eventually managed to get the Typhoomerang to land, and Tom remembers reading from the Book of Dragons that the Typhoomerang species aren't afraid of eels unlike other dragons, which explains why it was eating the fake snakes. However, the Typhoomerang calls another of its kind and the two dragons fly around the group in a ring of fire.

By the time Wu and Wei douse the flames, the Typhoomerangs escape and head towards ICARIS. When the Typhoomerangs link talons and begin moving in sync, D'Angelo realizes the dragons are performing a courtship dance. The Typhoomerangs continue their dance, but it quickly proves to be dangerous when they begin descending while breathing spiraling fire and risk crashing into ICARIS. The group's tension reaches its peak when Tom is forced to admit Eugene put the idea that Jun might breakup with him, and everyone begins arguing again. With the riders unable to pull themselves together, the dragons are forced to take action on their own. Wu and Wei douse the Typhoomerangs fire, and the other dragons direct them over the fissure where they can perform their courtship dance harmlessly and return to the Hidden World.

After their clear failure to work as a team, everyone is forced to admit they've grown apart and need space from each other. The team breaks apart and goes their separate ways, just as predicted.
