Huginn the raven is mentioned in the game, Dragons: Rise of Berk.
Mythology[]
Huginn, along with Muninn, are the ravens belonging to the Norse god Odin. They are often seen perching on the god's shoulders and are so intertwined with him, that he is sometimes known as the "Raven God". They perform the important task of gathering information from all over the mortal world (Midgard) throughout the day, and returning in the evening to tell Odin what they saw.
Some historians indicate that Huginn and Muninn represented Odin's "mind" and "memory" respectively. Others indicate that these two ravens represent Odin's fylgja - spirits connected with fate tied to each person, including mortals.
