Netflix
The Watch Instantly section of Netflix is where you can go to watch the Netflix Original Series' Dragons: Race to the Edge. And Dragons: Rescue Riders. The service offers a one month free trial.
How to Train Your Dragon: Legends, Gift of the Night Fury, and Dawn of the Dragon Racers are also available on Netflix.
All three films have also come and go on the site, but different countries offer different options. Check your country's Netflix site for what's available and what's coming soon.
Hulu
Snoggletog Log is available on Hulu, and is also available in full legally for free on Hulu's Youtube channel. The third film and Homecoming have also been hosted on the service and may be available to stream again in the future. The service offers a one month free trial.
All seasons of the series Dragons: The Nine Realms are available on this service as of December 23. 2021.
Peacock TV
Peacock is the new streaming service from NBC-Universal, of which DreamWorks is a property. The most basic service is free of charge, while two levels of upgrades are available for small monthly fees. Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk, and the first film are available in full on both paid subscriptions. The service offers a seven day free trial.
Starting with the third season, Rescue Riders is available on the service as of November 24, 2021, under the series title Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky.
All seasons of the series Dragons: The Nine Realms are available on this service as of December 23. 2021.
Apple TV
Riders of Berk and Defenders of Berk are both available with a subscription of Apple TV. The service offers a seven day free trial.
Broadcast Television Networks
In the United States, the first film, both television series, and occasionally the shorts air on the cable network Universal Kids. The films are also known to air occasionally on networks owned by Fox, Turner Broadcasting, HBO, and NBC-Universal.
In Great Britain, both television series, as well as The Nine Realms, are known to air on BBC1. In Canada, Race to the Edge airs on The Family Channel, while Rescue Riders airs on Family Junior. And in Southeast Asia, it airs on the DreamWorks Channel. Also outside the United States, both TV series may air on Cartoon Network and the films and shorts may air on the Disney Channel.
On Demand
Most satellite and cable TV providers offer On Demand options at no additional cost. Any of the films and shorts may be added to their On Demand library at any given time, and various episodes of any of the TV series' may be available as well. Instalments are often added and removed without notice, so checking what's available on a regular basis is key. Check the On Demand options of your satellite or cable TV provider for availability.
