Gameplay[]
The How to Train Your Dragon Mobile Game roughly follows an abbreviated storyline from the How to Train Your Dragon film. The player plays as Hiccup who shoots down a Night Fury into Berk Forest. Gameplay revolves around puzzling their way through several landscapes around the Isle of Berk to find the downed dragon, then finding various supplies to befriend the dragon and get him flying again. This includes Fish, sticks, and a stash of Gobber's leather. Astrid makes an appearance as well, and ultimately Hiccup and Toothless encounter the Red Death as a big boss.
Errors[]
The abbreviated storyline for the game does incorporate many elements and quotes from the How to Train Your Dragon film. However, due to the format, there are some changes and errors when compared with the film.
- Toothless' tail is only broken rather than missing an entire section.
- Hiccup does not lose his leg at the end.
- The battle with the Red Death does not occur at Dragon Island.
- Stoick does not capture Toothless.
