Horrendous Point is a location introduced in Dragons: Rise of Berk. It is named after the line of Horrendous Haddocks, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock I, II and III.
Official Description[]
“ | Named after the Horrendous Haddocks, this is one of the tallest peaks on all of Berk. Legend has it that any Viking who falls asleep there will dream of his future. | ” |
— Dragons: Rise of Berk |
“ | The entire colony at Horrendous Point disappeared over the course of a single winter, and when the ruins of their village were examined, the purple scales of the Emperor Pandinus were found. | ” |
— Dragons: Titan Uprising |
Geography[]
Situated on Berk, Horrendous Point is atop a tall mountain. This implies the Isle of Berk is actually quite extensive, more than just Berk Village and Harbor.
Because a settlement of people once resided on Horrendous Point, it is assumed this mountainous terrain had some flat or gently sloped areas on which to build homes, until its demise over a single winter purportedly by a Triple Stryke named Emperor Pandinus.
