Greenie is a Zipplewraith appearing during Thawfest (2022) in the game, School of Dragons.
Biography[]
Migrating to Zippleback Island[]
Greenie begins a migration Northward to colder climates due to climate changes, and may have been separated from his pack during that time. He encounters a group of Tundra Zipplewraith and attempts to join their pack, but is met with only aggression and harassment, since Zipplewraith are fairly solitary and only associate with their own close-nit packs. Very stressed and agitated, Greenie stops on the Berk and encounters Hookfang and Snotlout. Because he is acting aggressively, Snotlout chases him off. He leaves for Glacier Island and again tries to interact with the pack of Tundra Zipplewraith, only to get harassed again. Snotlout, Hookfang, and a few other Dragon Riders are able to track him down, and, seeing his distress, chases away the Tundra Zipplewraith with an eel. At this point, Snotlout gave Greenie his name. During the scuffle, Greenie slips away to Zippleback Island, with Hookfang following. The Tundra Zipplewraith also follow him here and continue their harassment. Snotlout, Hookfang, and the other Dragon Riders fight off the Tundra Zipplewraith and drive them off the island. Zippleback Island has a good climate for Greenie, so he stays there. Later, in appreciation, Greenie visits Berk again and participates in the opening ceremony of Thawfest.
Physical Appearance[]
Greenie is colored as his name implies - mainly a grass green base color. His wings are shaded with yellow, and have scarlet patches through. The underside of his necks, belly, and tails are a creamy golden yellow. He has whisker-like facial protrusions in scarlet red, as well as a sprinkling of small scarlet spikes over his body.
