Flashburn's School of Swordfighting is a school where young Vikings learn the skill of swordfighting under the legendary Flashburn. The school is located within the Ugli-thug territories and serves as the primary setting of the ninth book, How to Steal a Dragon's Sword.
At the beginning of How to Steal a Dragon's Sword, several Viking tribes are camping on the edge of a cliff trying to reach the school. It is a Viking tradition to climb up the mountain to reach the school. The youngsters had to climb the mountain the hard way, which was a steep cliff. The older Vikings could go the easy way which was an almost flat path.

Trivia[]
The tradition of having the younger Vikings scale the mountain the hard way is due to the older generation having climbed it by themselves alone with no aid from the dragons.
