Dragons: Riders of Berk[]
In "Dragon Flower", when Trader Johann arrives at Berk and offers his merchandise for trading, Fishlegs finds a book and questions if it's the Book of Botany. Johann verifies that it is and was given to him by the author himself. Fishlegs offers to trade a necklace made from baby dragon teeth which Johann accepts as a good enough trade. Later, when all the dragons become sick and Gothi identifies it is due to something new on the island, everyone is forced to throw the thing they bought from Johann into a pit. Fishlegs comes by with his Botany Book but wishes to at least finish it first, so he speed reads it wanting to know how it ends. Ruffnut decides to snatch it off him and throw it into the pit which he's upset about. Soon after discovering the Blue Oleander flower, Fishlegs identifies it from the Book of Botany and states that they're poisonous to reptiles which meant they were the cause of the dragons' illness. Hiccup asks if the book said anything about a cure, but Fishlegs doesn't know, reminding Hiccup that he made him throw it in the pit, to which Hiccup annoyedly orders him to go and dig it up. Once Fishlegs returns, he again states the flowers are poisonous towards the dragons but is unable to find any other information. He remembers more about the flowers from the Scauldron page from the Book of Dragons.
