Biography

Meeting Hiccup

During the events of "Edge of Disaster, Parts 1 and 2", Firescrapes can first be seen together with Scardian and the rest of the pack when they faced off Trader Johann and kidnapped Fishlegs. He is later seen several times standing beside Scardian, and later patrolling at night.

He was later tamed by Hiccup and aided them at Dragon's Edge to fight off Dagur and Ryker.

Dragons: Rise of Berk

In one of Fishlegs' journeys, he goes to forest island to study Firescrapes and make him and the other Monstrous Nightmares trust people.

Cliffs surround the Firescrapes' lair in three sides, keeping it well hidden with limited ways in or out. It's a small place with strongly scented flowers growing throughout.

Physical Appearance

Firescrapes has the appearance of a normal Monstrous Nightmare. He is yellow in color with some lime green hints. However, he is covered in scars due to years of mistreatment by Dragon Hunters. He appears to be of a darker shade of lime green with dark green stripes in Rise of Berk.

Trivia

  • Firescrape may refer to one individual seen in Scardian's abused dragon pack, but also refers to a group of Monstrous Nightmares in Dragons: Rise of Berk. Multiple dragons with the same coloring can be seen in "Edge of Disaster, Part 2", in the background, in addition to Scardian's second-in-command.
  • Firescrapes seems to be the second-in-command in Scardian's pack, as he and Scardian are often seen next to each other and Scardian looked towards him before shooting fire at Fishlegs.
  • A Firescrape was able to be obtained in a Dragons: Rise of Berk special event Gauntlet in 2017.
  • Firescrapes' coloration and scars are very similar to those of Whip-Slash.
    • The two are also in similar positions, with both of them having been abused by the Dragon Hunters and used for personal gain.
