Nicolas "Nico" Marlet is an artist and character designer most recently working with DreamWorks Animation Studio, and has worked behind the scenes of many How to Train Your Dragon Franchise video media.

Biography[]

Nico Marlet is a French-born artist who has worked for several decades on projects for Disney and most recently and prolifically for DreamWorks Animation. He has won four Annie Awards for his work on Dreamworks productions. These include: Best Character Design in an Animated Feature Production on Over the Hedge in 2006, Best Character Design in an Animated Television Production or Short Form on Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five in 2008, Best Character Design in an Animated Feature Production on Kung Fu Panda in 2008, and Best Character Design in an Animated Feature Production for How to Train Your Dragon in 2010.
