House Thorston, also known as the Thorston family, Nut family ("Edge of Disaster, Part 2"), or simply the Thorstons, are a family of Vikings that belong to the Hooligan tribe.

At some point prior to the first film, Magmar Thorston had claimed Dragon's Edge for his family ("Reign of Fireworms").
It is revealed that every member of House Thorston must take the Thorston Induction Trials in order to become an official member of the family ("A Gruff Separation").
