How to Train Your Dragon 2[]
Eret's Fort was once a thriving outpost for trappers to trade and ship dragons to Drago Bludvist, complete with docks for ships, cages to house captive dragons and weapons. There are even raised docks for archers to fire. But since the attack by Valka's Bewilderbeast, the fort has been reduced to splinters and ice spikes. Eret and his fellow trappers since reside there at the beginning of the second movie, ready to attack any dragon or rider that passes by.
It is first discovered by Berkians when Hiccup and Astrid notice smoke in the distance from Itchy Armpit and go to investigate. They unknowingly fall into the traps of the dragon trappers and Stormfly is caught. Eret makes his first appearance here and accuses the duo of being involved with the dragon rider, Valka, who wrecked the fort. Luckily, Toothless blasts the ice spikes, making time for Hiccup and Astrid to free Stormfly and they all escape.
