However, because their digging brought them dangerous close to the entrance to the Hidden World so D'Angelo, Alex, Plowhorn, and Feathers had to get them away from them. When Plowhorn causes a small collapse to scare them off, despite the miners concern Sledkin sees a piece of Dragonsite and is still determined to get to it. Later Alex and Feathers make a scary sound to scare them off which frightens the miners but Sledkin states its just the wind which leads her to believe there's a tunnel with Dragonsite so she make's the miners work harder. Although thankfully they get them away from the tunnel by having Feathers pretend she's a ghost to scare the miners off, forcing Sledkin to abandon the project.
Season 4[]
In "Cold Open", Olivia is studying the properties of Dragonsite and discovers that Dragonsite can withstand temperatures of up to 4500°K, but struggles to determine how to further test the crystal which makes her obsessed and frustrated with trying to study it and also concerns Carla and Hazel. Later at night she tests her 6000 K, causing it to emit large amounts of light & gases.
In "The Decoy", Olivia shows her latest crystal specimen to the Dragon Club during their field trip to ICARIS. The kids, having seen Dragonsite - and given it that name - in the Hidden World already, pretend to look surprised, but Tom panics and whispers to Jun about this new specimen. Olivia overhears, prompting Tom to say he was suggesting a name for the crystal & Eugene to add that it's based on a crystal in the Dragon Club's "fantasy roleplaying game", so Olivia officially coins the term.
In "The Night Lights, Part 2", when Olivia is trying to see what Tom is up too, Sledkin thinks she's off to find more Dragonsite so when confronting her Olivia denies and says she's off on a walk although Sledkin still thinks she's trying to find more Dragonsite. In "Undercover", when Jun wanted to bring Sledkin into the Hidden World Tom didn't trust the idea so while Jun and D'Angelo took her there Tom, Alex and Eugene snuck into her office to find some dirt on her, in which they found proof of an email that Sledkin was responsible for raiding the Nadder's nest of Dragonsite. Meanwhile when Jun and D'Angelo bring Sledkin into the Hidden World, after a while they find some Terrible Terrors blasting at a piece of Dragonsite which impresses Sledkin as she takes pictures she was amazed that the rock reacted to Dragon fire and admired how the heat interacted with the composition of the stone. When Jun and D'Angelo returned Tom tried proving to them Sledkin was responsible for the Nadder's Dragonsite nest although thanks to Eugene's stupidity he a picture of his face instead of the email, and despite Jun believing them she let her ego get the best of her when Tom states that Sledkin need her to bring her to the Realms if she could get Dragonsite anytime she wanted which made Jun storm off. Later after determining Buzzsaw wasn't responsible and another explosion goes off where the riders now find a cave and inside some Dragonsite ore that was about to be detonated in which they find Sledkin and Linda proving they were responsible. But after Sledkin seals the riders in a cave in, getting rescued by the Cavern Crasher and informing their parents again, Sledkin and Linda run away. Olivia then regrets sharing her research with her revealing that that Dragonsite has oxygenating properties, likely caused by heating the crystals as Terrible Terrors do. She and D'Angelo then conclude that Dragonsite provides the Hidden World's entire air supply, so mining it all out would make it unhabitable.

In "Eugene's Lean Mean Extreme Dream Team", Buzzsaw doesn't appreciate Sledkin trespassing to mine Dragonsite into the Hidden World which he claims as his but needs help to translate the Book of Dragons so he makes a deal with her saying she can continue to mine out the Dragonsite as long as she helps him translate the book.
In "404 Alex Not Found", Sledkin's secret underground lab has four chambers with four pieces Dragonsite in them. Sledkin believes there's a large deposit of Dragonsite in one of the realms but requires time to prep for the expedition however Buzzsaw becomes frustrated and angry that she's doing this and not translating the book. When Buzzsaw returns Sledkin is in the middle of studying a piece of Dragonsite and when Buzzsaw mentions he was in a maze of crystals she thinks he's talking about Dragonsite, but as she rants and acts defeated when he mentions he lost the book to the riders Sledkin reveals she took pictures of the book on her phone in which one of the pages showed a piece of glowing Dragonsite.
In "Rise of Jörmungandr", while racing against Buzzsaw to find Jörmungandr in the Dark Realm, the club comes across red Dragonsite but unlike the usual green ones when red Dragonsite is heated by dragon fire it creates a mist that doesn't produce a calm soothing effect on dragons but it irritates them and humans too, causing them all to be at eachother's throats and for D'Angelo to explain all their faults but he later concludes that the Red Dragonsite's mist has an effect on their serotonin levels.
