The Dragonscale Cliff is a land expansion area on Berk seen in the game, Dragons: Rise of Berk.

Geography[]

Dragonscale Cliff is an area adjacent to the Old Forest. It is full of rocky terrain in the form of rock spars, rock clusters, and boulders that the player must remove. It is a wooded area containing saplings, thickets, and groves, woodlands, and forests, which the player must also remove. Dragonscale Cliff is also bordered by a river running into the sea.

There is also the Bridge to Dragonscale Cliff the player must rebuild to access the area. A sawmill is available next to the river.

Dragons: Rise of Berk[]

The player must build the Dragonscale Cliff Bridge to access the Dragonscale Cliff land expansion area to increase space in the Quest "Mending Defenses".

If we don't control the Dragonscale Cliff area, we could be attacked from that direction!
Stoick in the quest "History in the Making"

The player must have a population of 45 Vikings and spend 75,000 Wood or 320 Runes (in-game currency) to build the Dragonscale Cliff Bridge. Building time takes 10 hours and 30 minutes. Once completed, the player must remove obstacles - rocks and trees - to make space for buildings and dragon roosts.

Dragonscale Cliff is also mentioned in a September 2017 Gauntlet event. The Dragon Riders find Dragon Root leaking from a crate from a destroyed Dragon Hunter ship. The player must battle - or Brawl - dragons to progress in the event.

Hiccup: "Dragon Root was found near Dragonscale Cliff. Thankfully none of our Dragons came into contact with it."
Fishlegs: "I don't mean to be a Norbert the Negative, but these Dragons are all REALLY messed up on Dragon Root. Isn't there some way we can ... pet them ... into submission? Hiccup, do the hand thing!"
Hiccup: "Let's see where this leads us. I have a feeling we're being toyed with."
Fishlegs: "A stolen Skrill egg, a beached Hunter ship leaking crates of Dragon Root into the ocean ..."
Hiccup: "This is definitely part of something bigger. Viggo isn't a prankster."
