Dastardly Dangerus the Tenth is the chief of the Danger-Brute Tribe who appeared in the short story How to Train Your Hogfly.
Biography[]
Inter-Tribe Summer-tide Friendly Bury the Hatchet Games[]
After finding out that Stoick didn't invite him to the Inter-Tribe Summer-tide Friendly Bury the Hatchet Games, Dastardly Dangerus arrived on Berk, crushing into Stoick's house. He threatened a blood feu on the Hooligans, but changed his mind when Hiccup suggested the Danger-Brutes could join the games right then. Dastardly Dangerus then made a bet with Stoick in which the loser owed the winner a dragon. He initially wanted the Silver Phantom, but after Nettle's insistence, he decided on Toothless. At the end of the games, the Danger-Brutes scored more points than the Hooligans, so he demanded Toothless. However, after Hiccup presented Nettle with a baby Throatgoggler, she changed her mind and Dastardly took the hatchling instead. This would prove to be a mistake, as the Throatgoggler flock followed him to his home island, where the dragons attacked him and his tribe, managing to take their baby back. In order to survive, Dastardly was forced to release all his prisoners.
Physical Appearance[]
Dastardly Dangerus is big and muscly. He has short hair and sport a long and pointed beard. His nose is crooked and his teeth are sharp. He wears a helmet with twisted horns on it.
Personality[]
He is described to be less scary than Very-Vicious the Visithug, yet crafty and annoying. He would do anything to please his younger daughter, Nettle, such as getting the baby Throatgoggler instead of Toothless or the Silver Phantom, and leaving home despite wanting to stay for the banquet.
