The Caldera of the Yellow Stone is mentioned twice in the game, Dragons: Titan Uprising.
Geography[]
The Caldera of the Yellow Stone is described as being far to the west of the Barbaric Archipelago and is a geologically active area occurring over a 30 mile wide chamber of magma. The presence of a large source of magma attracts Eruptodons who feast on the liquid rock. This in turn keeps the magma chamber from welling up and forming a huge volcano.

Dragons: Titan Uprising[]
The Caldera of the Yellow Stone is detailed in the description for Volcanic Eruptodons. It is also mentioned that the mother of the Volcanic Vethorm originally resided at Yellow Stone, but left due to overcrowding.
“ | the vast majority of Eruptodons congregate in a single colony in a far away land to the west known as ‘the Caldera of the Yellow Stone’. This Caldera is located above a massive bubble of magma 30 miles wide, that draws the Eruptodons like bees to honey. |

Trivia[]
- This location is based off the real-life location of the Yellowstone Caldera. It is located in Wyoming, USA in the Yellowstone National Park. The caldera sits over a volcanic hotspot - an upwelling of magma from the Earth's mantle (as opposed to in the crust). As such, it occurs in the middle of a tectonic plate rather than at an edge, and therefore seemingly "moves" over time, though in actuality the plate above it is shifting. The last super-eruption occurred 640,000 years ago. Geologists predict that another eruption won't occur for some time.
