Bubbley is a Bubblegill who first appeared in the episode "Return to the Sunken City".
Biography[]
Retrieving the Alpha Crystals[]
While looking for the Alpha Crystals, the Rescue Riders discover a hidden chamber and the Bubblegill dragon brothers Bubbley and Bobbley. After explaining the situation with the Finkes, the Bubblegills reveal that they hid the crystals in the library, where the Finkes find them. Magnus uses the crystals to control all the dragons of the Rescue Rider team. However, after some encouragement from Leyla and Dak, Bubbley and Bobbley along with the two humans managed to stop Magnus thanks to their immunity to the Alpha Crystals, and the combined force of their bubble abilities. Bubbley and his brother than returned the crystals to Valantis.
Physical Appearance[]
Bubbley looks like the rest of his species would build wise. Color wise, he is mainly purple with red highlights on his thighs and face. His legs are yellow until his feet which are blue. The undersides of his wings are purple which fades into yellow for the rest of the wing. His underbelly is yellow.
Personality[]
Bubbley, like his brother and fellow Guardian Bobbley is a pretty easy going dragon, but takes his job as a crystal guardian seriously.
Abilities and Skills[]
Speed and Agility: Underwater, Bubbley was able to dodge the attacks of multiple dragons, including a Fastfin.
Bubble Blasts: True to his species namesake, Bubbley is capable of creating a barrage of bubbles that when combined with Bobbley's, can knock back large objects such as Magnus's Mechano Dragon. or groups of dragons.
Bubble Creation: Bubbley is capable of creating large bubbles to contain other dragons and objects. They seem to be reasonably strong since the Rescue Rider's dragons couldn't break out until they were popped by Cutter, and when Magnus launched a lobster at it, it had no effect
Crystal Immunity: Like the rest of his species, Bubbley is immune to Alpha Crystals.
Relationships[]
Bobbley[]
Bubbley and Bobbley are brothers, and appear to have an extremely good relationship with each other since their personalities overlap. They are shown to be able to work together very well, as they were able to combine their Bubble abilities to defeat Magnus.
Dak[]
It was thanks to Dak and Leyla that Bubbley and his brother regained the confidence they needed to retrieve the Alpha Crystals. Bubbley later allowed Dak to ride him since Winger was being controlled by Magnus.
