Biography[]
Brian Edward Posehn was born in Sacramento, California and later went to California State University, Sacramento. In the 1990's Brian began his career with TV appearances on a variety of shows such as Mr. Show with Bob and David and Seinfield. During this decade, he also wrote and voice-acted. He continued these activities into the 2000's, and added stand-up comedy and acting in films such as Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Brian won a DVDX award in 2003 for Best Original Song in a DVD Premiere Movie for Run Ronnie Run. He was also nominated twice in 1998 and 1999 for the Outstanding Writing for a Variety or Music Program Primetime Emmy for work on Mr. Show with Bob and David.
Brian Posehn has one child, a son, with wife Melanie Truhett. They have been married since 2004.
