The Bifrost is a structural location constructed by the Aesir - Norse gods - as a bridge between Asgard and Midgard.

The Bifrost bridge was built by the Aesir as a bridge between Asgard (the realm of the gods) and Midgard (the realm of mortals). It takes the appearance of a rainbow, or a bean of light with three colors. This Bifrost bridge spans several supernatural rivers called the Kerlaugar, Kormt, and Ormt. All the gods except Thor cross the bifrost daily, with Thor wading the rivers, to hold courtly meetings near a holy well. It is also foretold that the Bifrost will be destroyed during Ragnarok.
