The Berk Council consisted of a portion of representatives of Berk and the Hooligan tribe. The council is seen making decisions in Dragons: Riders of Berk, and again in Dragons: Race to the Edge.
History[]
Following the abduction of Chief Stoick's wife Valka during the Dragon War(How to Train Your Dragon 2), the Council tried to talk Stoick out of his search for her, but they could not refuse the chief, as stated in "Imperfect Harmony".
They later discussed the handing over of Bork's Papers to Hiccup and Berk Dragon Training Academy in "We Are Family, Part 1".
The Berk Council discussed Hiccup's request to explore newly revealed islands and dragons found inside the Dragon Eye. Spitelout and Silent Sven then spoke against this knowing that they will find trouble and end their reign of peace. Spitelout also insisted that they should be hunting Dagur and his Berserkers and putting them back in prison. However, Stoick was able to convince the Council to allow Hiccup and his riders to do this.("Imperfect Harmony")
