Baited Breath is a female Small Shadow that appeared in the fourth season of Dragons: Race to the Edge.

“	Although credited with taking out a Dragon Hunter outpost, Baited Breath has caused as much trouble as she's solved. Hiccup & Toothless survived their first encounter - only barely.	”

Biography

Taking down Dragon Hunters

Along with her pack, Baited Breath had taken down a Dragon Hunter outpost slightly during the events of "The Longest Day". She had pretended to be injured, whining in pain, before a Hunter approached her and the rest of the pack staged an ambush.

Encounter with Hiccup and Toothless

After defeating the Hunters, Baited Breath resumed her position as a bait to lure unsuspecting victims in. Hiccup and Toothless soon approach the island, upon hearing her cries and attempt to help. The rest of the pack swoop into action once again, but the duo escapes narrowly. Hiccup and Toothless are continously chased by Baited Breath and her pack and later by a Shadow Wing. But the tables turn soon as they quickly stage an ambush against their attackers.

Physical Appearance

In Race to the Edge, Baited Breath has iridescent blue and purple scales and wings, as well as light undersides, similar to the other Small Shadows in her pack.

However, in Rise of Berk she is completely green.

Trivia

• It may be possible that the rest of the dragons in her pack are her relatives.
