Angela Bartys voices Gothi, the mute Hooligan elder. She also voiced Astrid Hofferson in the How to Train Your Dragon Game and the How to Train Your Dragon 2 Game for Nintendo, as well as School of Dragons. She also voiced Chicken and Trader Lena.

Angela Bartys started by going to sound school but quickly dropped out and moved to California. A series of unusual events led her to voice acting.

In addition to voicing Astrid in the How to Train Your Dragon the game, she was also the "scratch vocals" for Astrid in all the TV shows. Scratch voicing is a behind the scene activity wherein a voice actor records all the lines to assist with animation and writing before the final vocals are made by the voice actor (in this case America Ferrera).

Angela Bartys was nominated for BTVA Special/DVD Voice Acting Award twice, once in 2012 for work in Secret of the Wings, and again in 2015 for The Pirate Fairy.

Oh let's see, I am a little on hold with DreamWorks because the new movie is going to be coming out, so that will kind of kickstart a whole new line of promo and shows and all that, probably next year so that will be exciting.
