So I was looking at some dragons and noticed that y'all used the pictures of some dragons from the video games, which is weird since lots of the dragons are in some shows and movies. Idk it bugs me. can yall change it.
What's on your mind?
I know this is a bit off topic, I'm supposed to be talking about How To Train Your Dragon and such, but did any of you guys notice that the layout of this Wiki (and all the rest Wiki's I'm sure) has changed? Do you like the new "CATEGORY" sign and "VIEW" sign instead of the "NEW" and "HOT" ones that it replaced? Its all OK by my standards, but with the "HOT" sign replaced, we can't see which ones are the "hottest" posts now! But, with the "VIEW" sign, it makes up for it. Kind of. Probably most of you saw it, said "whatever", and went back to your daily "Fandomish" things.
Speaking of daily, sorry about the Daily Riddles series. Seems like I can't keep it up every day-I'm too busy, so, I apologize for the absence of yesterday's riddle. So sorry, seems like today I can't keep it up too, I'll try to keep it up tomorrow-please don't hate me or anything, I know mostly of you guys a want to see another riddle. Please, forgive me, I'll do it tomorrow-probably. Blame me if tomorrow still I can't keep it up. All I want to know right now is-do you guys like the new format/layout of this Fandom Wiki?
Now for some on-topic things. I got to ask you something: Which dragon do you think is stronger? A Night-Light or a Night Fury? And we're talking about a normal Night Fury, not a alpha, like Toothless. Well, maybe a Toothless in HTTYD 1 will do. Well, I wanted to post this post before now, but, hey,I'm ~[busy]~! OK I had no idea what that was about, it just looked fancy. Just answer my two questions:
1) Do you like the new format/layout of Wiki, HTTYD?
2) Who do you think will win? Night-Light or Night Fury (original)?
ψ(._. )> Please like my post guys, thanks. LOL. ψ(._. )>

It is a very popular theory that Berk is located in Scotland- or specifically the Hebridean Isles- because of the Scottish accents and because that is where the books take place but I disagree with this. Hear me out:
Firstly, I will be counting RttE as canon for this because the movies don’t give too much evidence.
We know that Berk is a very cold place, especially in Winter. We see a lot of snow in GotNF- much more than there would usually be in Scotland. We also know that it is quite close to Valka’s mountain, an island covered in ice and snow. This suggests that it is further North than Scotland but probably not quite in the Arctic circle- or at least just on the border- because (despite what Hiccup says) it does not snow and hail all year round. It is also so far up North that there is a strong Midnight sun for a fortnight. In Trondheim (which is about 1/3 of the way up Norway), there is quite a weak Midnight Sun so it would need to be a bit further up North than Trondheim.
Berk is in an Archipelago so assuming it is in Scandinavia, it can only really be Norway.
So what do we know so far? It is probably on one of the thousands of islands of Norway and probably somewhere in between the level of Trondheim and the border of the Arctic Circle.
Some archipelagos that fit that description are:
•Frank Josef Land
The first one looks nothing like the Barbaric Archipelago. I’m not going to share pictures of all of them because the post would never load but you can do a quick search and find some information or pictures. The second one seems like a somewhat good fit but it is a bit flat, unlike the Barbaric Archipelago. Lofoten, however, seems almost perfect. It looks quite like it and Vikings used to live there. Here are some pictures:
I don’t think there is a certain one that is Berk and I’m not going to try to find it because there are too many that look like it. The same applies to other islands such as Berserker Island. I also don’t know whether the film was designed to take place here like the books where designed to be set in the Hebridean Isles or if this archipelago just so happens to fit.
Anyway, did you like the theory? Does it seem likely or not? Do you know a better and more fitting place- if so, please tell me about it in the comments if you wouldn’t mind. Thanks! 🙃
Hey!! I’m back! I know I have been off the wiki for a pretty long time but that’s because my dad took away my iPad, but that doesn’t really matter cause I’m back now!!
Here is a picture that I drew of Dart
Hey guys! I have finished basically every good HTTYD fanfic I could find, any suggest preferably ones where Hiccup can understand Toothless.
In the picture below, you can see those slits.
Theory #1: They evolved gills. In the movie Waterworld, there is a character, Mariner, who is a human that evolved gills and webbed feet. I am sure this is science fiction.
Theory#2: Those are false gills. In real life, the Pygmy Sperm Whale has false gills, which are just folds. Like all mammals, they only breathe through air.
Which theory would you support?
Hello guys, I recently read wizards of once and I would really like to hear your opinion, will this book be as successful as the "How to train your dragon" series?
In my opinion it was great 👍
There he is!!
I named him Phoenixx after a parakeet I had!
(His name has two Xs because for some reason the game wouldn't let me name him Phoenix with one X)
Hi everyone um im new but also a huge fan
Of HTTYD 1.2 and 3 and even the RTTE series
Can someone please explain how this works
